Yes, proudly so. Hendrick's Gin is Scottish in origin and is distilled in Girvan, South Ayrshire, Scotland. The distillery sits just a mile inland, overlooking the mystical volcanic island of Ailsa Craig.

2. Why is Hendrick’s Gin served with cucumber?

Hendrick's Gin is made with cucumber, which is why a fresh slice is the perfect complement to its refreshing profile. Hendrick's signature flavour is a combination of cucumber and rose, balanced with 11 other botanicals.

3. What does Hendrick’s Gin taste like?

Hendrick’s Gin has an elegantly smooth palate of subtle botanicals which provides a satisfying complexity with sublimely balanced tones of juniper, with delicate notes of  10 other botanicals: caraway, coriander, elderflower, chamomile, orange- and lemon peel, yarrow, angelica, cubeb pepper and orris bestow Hendrick's with a seductively beguiling and utterly distinctive taste.

4. How is gin made?

Hendrick's Gin is distilled using two rare stills: the Bennet Still and the Carter-Head Still. The combination of these two distillation methods creates an unusually smooth gin with a balanced and distinctive flavour profile.

5. What is gin’s alcohol percentage? How alcoholic is gin?

Hendrick's Gin has an ABV of 41.1%. Like all gin, it is a distilled spirit, and we recommend enjoying it responsibly.

6. How many calories in a gin and tonic?

A standard measure of gin contains around 98 calories. A Hendrick's Gin & Tonic typically contains approximately 150 calories, depending on tonic and serving size.

7. What is gin made out of?

All gins contain juniper. Hendrick’s unique taste comes from its use of roses and cucumbers along with 11 other botanicals, of course including juniper - but also coriander, orange, lemon, angelic, orris root, cubeb berries, caraway seeds, chamomile, elderflower, and yarrow berries.

8. Is gin gluten free?

We are delighted to inform you that Hendrick’s Gin is indeed gluten-free.

9. Is gin vegan?

We are delighted to inform you that Hendrick’s Gins do not contain animal ingredients but please be aware that some of our suppliers may handle animal products (and other allergens) in their factories.

10. Can I recycle the Hendrick’s bottle?

The Hendrick's bottle can be happily recycled. With its iconic good looks and robust construction, it can also be easily upcycled and enjoy a new life as a vase, lamp, or multitude of other lovely things.
